I’ve been writing since 2012 as a traditional- and indie-published author, and it’s been such an amazing journey! For most of that time, I wrote under the name Molly McAdams, where I was blessed to see my books hit the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists.
I’m slightly obsessed with em dashes, Oxford commas are my best friend, the word “whom” could honestly disappear, if it wanted, and I don’t know how to keep things short and sweet—obviously. If I can’t predict your plot twist, or you make me laugh out loud, I will recommend your book to everyone I know. The angstier your story, the better. And if your words can emotionally destroy me, your characters will forever hold a special place in my heart.
That said, if there’s romance somewhere in the story, I’m here for it, friend! I enjoy everything from fantasy and retellings, to suspense and thrillers, to contemporary and sports, to romcoms and cozy reads.
Telling stories brings me so much joy. There’s something truly magical about creating a world for readers to immerse themselves in, and I’d absolutely love to help you with your writing journey!
Just a heads-up: I now only write closed-door romance, so I won’t consider any stories with open-door scenes.

DEVELOPMENTAL EDIT

Congratulations on completing your story! Whether it’s your first or thirtieth, that’s a huge accomplishment! Now, let’s dive in and examine the major elements of your manuscript together. Sometimes, in the writing process, things can slip through the cracks because authors see the story unfolding in their heads, not necessarily how it translates onto paper. I’m here to help make sure everything flows smoothly for your readers. I’ll look for consistency in your characters and plot, and I’ll spot any little gaps in the story that need filling.
With the developmental edit, you’ll receive one (1) report of my overall thoughts and recommendations, along with comments and real-time reactions throughout your manuscript. Two (2) read-throughs of your manuscript. Plus, you’ll get up to two (2) hours of brainstorming or feedback sessions through Instagram voice messages or Zoom calls. I can’t wait to work with you on this!
ALPHA READ

FORMATTING
$150 ($100 if adding on to any other services)
You’re almost ready to publish—how exciting! I would love to take one more thing off your plate by formatting the interior of your eBook and/or paperback for you.
I’ll be using Vellum to get everything looking just right, including chapter headings and any other design elements you prefer. Just a quick reminder: please make sure all your edits are done before we get started.
You’ll also get one (1) round of edits after the initial formatting, which includes up to twenty-five (25) errors. If you need any additional tweaks, we can work that out for an additional fee. Let’s get your book ready to publish!

What’s your turnaround time?
That depends on the size of your manuscript and the service you’re requesting! Anywhere from 1-3 weeks.
Will you work on an AI-generated/helped manuscript?
Absolutely not.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes! You’ll need a $50 deposit to hold your spot. This amount is non-refundable and will be counted toward your total price.
Will you do a sample edit?
Yes, for a developmental edit! I’ll sample edit the first 3k words to see if we’re a good fit for each other. The deposit won’t be required until after this.
